WebRTC Camera Widget
The WebRTC Camera Widget provides a low-latency, real-time video stream.
Description
Section titled “Description”Unlike standard camera streams that often have a delay of 5-10 seconds, this widget uses WebRTC to deliver near-instant video. It’s perfect for doorbells, baby monitors, or any scenario where timing is critical.
Key Features
Section titled “Key Features”- Real-Time: Sub-second latency (often < 500ms).
- Audio Support: Receives audio from the camera if supported.
- Auto-Aspect Ratio: Automatically adjusts to the camera’s feed (16:9, 4:3, etc.) or allows custom scaling.
- Interactive:
- Click Action: Expand to full-screen or toggle other widgets when clicked.
- PTZ Support: (If supported by underlying services) could control camera movement.
Configuration

Section titled “Source”- Entity: Select a camera entity that supports WebRTC (often via integrations like RTSPtoWeb or go2rtc).
Visuals
Section titled “Visuals”- Fit Mode:
- Contain: Show the whole image (may have black bars).
- Cover: Fill the widget area (may crop edges).
- Styling: Corner radius to match your dashboard design.

- Baby Monitor: Hear and see in real-time without buffering delay.
