Thermostat Widget

The Thermostat Widget is a comprehensive control panel for HVAC climate entities.

A card-style interface for managing heating and cooling. It provides detailed status information and full control over modes, temperatures, and fan settings.

  • Controls:
    • Setpoint: Up/Down buttons to adjust target temperature.
    • Modes: Dropdowns for HVAC Mode (Heat, Cool, Auto, Off) and Preset Mode (Eco, Boost, Away).
    • Fan: Fan mode selection.
  • Visual Feedback:
    • Dynamic Color: Background changes based on state (Orange for heating, Blue for cooling, Grey for idle).
    • Status Icon: Animated fan/heating icons.
  • Dual Setpoint: Supports auto mode with High/Low target ranges.
  • Entity: Select a climate entity.
  • Colors: Define custom colors for each state (Heat, Cool, Idle, Off, Fan Only).
  • Controls: Toggle visibility of Fan Mode and Preset Mode dropdowns to simplify the UI.
  • Typography: Adjust font sizes for the main temperature display vs status text.
  • Main Climate Control: The primary interface for your home’s central heating/AC.
  • Room Control: Individual card for a specific room’s AC unit.
