The Weather Forecast Bars Widget visualizes temperature ranges over the coming days.
Description
Section titled “Description”Unlike the standard Weather Card, this widget focuses on temperature trends. It lists the upcoming days vertically, and for each day, it draws a horizontal bar spanning from the Low to the High temperature.
Key Features
Section titled “Key Features”- Range Visualization: Quickly see the spread of temperatures. A long bar means a variable day; a short bar means stable temp.
- Gradient Coloring: The bars are colored with a gradient (e.g., Blue for cold, Red for hot) based on the temperature value.
- Current Indicator: distinct dot indicates exactly where the current temperature sits within today’s range.
- Compact: Effective way to show 5-7 days of data in a list format.
Configuration
Section titled “Configuration”Source
Section titled “Source”- Location: Select the weather location.
- Days: Number of days to display (e.g., 3, 5, 7).
Styling
Section titled “Styling”- Gradients: Define the “Cold” and “Hot” colors. The widget interpolates these to color the bars dynamically.
- Dimensions: Adjust the height of the bars and size of the icons.
Use Cases
Section titled “Use Cases”- Week Ahead: Planning outfits or activities based on temperature trends.
