Digital Date Widget
The Digital Date Widget displays the current date in a customizable format.
Description
Section titled “Description”While clocks show time, this widget is dedicated to displaying the full date (e.g., “Monday, January 15th”). It complements clock widgets to provide a complete temporal context.
Key Features
Section titled “Key Features”- Format Control: Use standard date format strings (e.g.,
MMMM d, yyyyfor “January 1, 2024”). - Timezones: Can display the date for a different region than the local browser.
- Styling: Typography controls for font family, size, weight, and color.
Configuration
Section titled “Configuration”General
Section titled “General”- Format: Enter a date-fns format string (e.g.,
EEE, MMM d-> “Mon, Jan 1”). - Timezone: Select a specific timezone or use Auto.
- Alignment: Text alignment (Left, Center, Right).
Appearance
Section titled “Appearance”- Text: Customize font, weight, and color to match your theme.
- Background: Transparent or solid background color.
Use Cases
Section titled “Use Cases”- Header info: Display “Monday, 12th January” next to a large clock.
- Compact: “12/01” in a small corner widget.
